A family learns of their mother’s wartime fate through the inscription of her last request and the kindness of one who happened to see it.

 

Paula Teem Levi is a retired Registered Nurse living in Clover, South Carolina. She is a member of several genealogical societies. Her stories “Broken Branch” and “You Got You Another One” appeared in the 2019 and 2020 Personal Story Publishing Projects.  Her goal is to preserve as many family stories as possible for future generations so that they will not be at risk of being forgotten or lost forever.
