"Stranded" by Karen Luke Jackson
– but hardly alone
Sometimes the help we need shows up and by means we cannot explain.
Karen Luke Jackson (Flat Rock, NC) draws upon oral history, contemplative practices and nature for inspiration. Her work has appeared in Nobody’s Home, moonShine review, and Emrys Journal; two poetry collections, The View Ever Changing and GRIT; and The Story Mandala: Finding Wholeness in a Divided World. A member of the North Carolina Writers’ Network and the North Carolina Poetry Society, Karen resides in a cottage on a goat pasture. There she writes and companions people on their spiritual journeys.
