Lubrina Burton is a veteran of the United States Army. After the service, she earned a degree in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. She now lives with her husband and pug dog in Lexington, Kentucky. Her short story, “Why Do Things Have To Be So Hard,” is featured in The Personal Story Publishing Project That Southern Thing. She is currently writing her memoir about coming of age in the military.
